E4 Research

E4 is a British TV channel. originally launched as a companion to Channel 4 on 18th January 2001. The E in E4 stands for entertainment.
On 16th December 2004, Channel 4 announced that the subscription channel would return to digital terrestrial TV.
E4 was viable as part of the basic Sky satellite subscription package, due to a long term contract with Sky it only became free to watch in May 2008.
In May 200, E4 introduced "First Look", showing episodes of popular programmes of the time such as Come Dine with Me and Hollyoaks.
As of today E4's most popular exclusive TV show is  The Big Bang Theory

The target audience are young teens (14) to late twenties/early thirties (30) of both genders

The Inbetweeners fits into the E4 channel, due to the age attraction that it possesses, for the more mature audiences. E4 is not a channel for younger audiences and requires a fairly high level of maturity whilst watching. The Inbetweeners is a good example of this, due t the crude humour

I couldn't find anything about The It Crowd being on E4 but it was on channel 4 Skins
The Inbetweeners
The Big Bang Theory
The Ricky Gervais Show
Rude Tube
New Girl
The Mindy Project
Brooklyn Nine-Nine
Empire
The 100
The Goldbergs
Agents of SHIELD

I used Wikipedia and the E4 website to find out the information
